Swimming Pool

We are extremely fortunate at Albrighton Primary School to have our own swimming pool.  It means that we can provide swimming lessons annually to all year groups from Year 2 to 6 (most schools provide lessons to just one year group per year).  It is also a super community resource outside of school hours when it is run by the swimming club, which not only offers swimming sessions but also pool parties etc.

The maintenance, upkeep and management costs of the pool average out at between £15,000-£16,000 per year.  The school part-funds this along with Albrighton Swimming Club.  The majority of the funding comes from Friends of Albrighton Swimming Pool Lottery.

To ensure we can keep this amazing facility we need the support of the local community; join the lottery for a chance to win a monthly prize at the same time as providing vital funding to keep the pool open.  More information regarding the lottery can be found in the attached letter from David Brady or at https://swimalbrighton.com/
