Curriculum

Our new topic is Bright Lights, Big City. 

Our PE days are on Tuesday and Thursday - please make sure you have appropriate kit and all jewellery and earrings must be removed. 

Mr Sibley teaches us indoor PE on a Tuesday afternoon and Mr Mountford teaches us outdoor PE on a Thursday afternoon. On a Thursday children to come to school wearing their outdoor PE kit and stayed in it all day. 

In Literacy we have been reading a variety of Paddington Bear stories. We started off by writing a character description of Paddington who sadly got lost in London....He was found! We then read and acted out the story of Paddington at the Palace. We are now beginning to write clear sentences about the story ready to write our own version. 

In maths year 1s have been learning to find one more and one less.
