Curriculum Overviews

The Curriculum at Albrighton Primary School follows the National Curriculum for children in Years 1 – 6  and the Early Years Foundation Stage Guidance for children in the EYFS. Our curriculum provision is a hybrid model, using an online resource, Cornerstones, as a skeleton framework for our foundation curriculum planning. This has been adapted  by subject leaders to create a more personalised curriculum for our school. Alongside this, we use our own English planning, which links to the curriculum topics when appropriate. Maths is taught discretely for the majority of lessons, using White Rose Maths as our core scheme.
These are our curriculum overviews for Cycle A and Cycle B, which show the imaginative learning projects we are studying from Nursery to Year 6 using the cornerstones curriculum mapped to the 2014 primary national curriculum subjects.
